Default Burnside Heights / Caroline Springs

The good the bad and the ugly

    Any comments would be great

Burnside Heights rates as no 6 suburb in Melb

Thinking of moving, what are the "areas" streets to stay away from

Unfortunately I hated Caroline springs. Found it extremely isolating. A few lakes don't compensate for a strong community. With resources and activities for kids.
There is also nothing to do for teenagers so alot of drinking and vandalism.

As currently living in west, I can say that's pretty typical but is it better than other western suburbs???

Just bumping for you. I live in Hillside, so not too far away but sorry I can't help with your question.

We moved to Caroline springs from Brisbane. I like it! We found good day care close by, love the Taylor's Hill Coles on Gourlay Rd... Open from 6am. Only crap things are mobile reception with Optus where we live and no cable (only ADSL).

I like the community spirit, lots of parks, dr's... It's nice.
