Ours was a wedding expo special price, however we paid $2200 for our photographer. The package included 2 photographers - photos getting ready (arrived about an hour before I left for the venue), entire ceremony, photo session afterwards & about two hours of the reception. As part of the package we received all the photos on a dvd afterwards, plus we got a proofs album, a coffee-table wedding album, two smaller wedding albums for both sets of parents & two canvas prints of our choice & 50 thank-you cards with the photo of our choice. Also included was an engagement/pre-wedding photo shoot.

It was an awesome package & they were great & so professional. We used Terry Gow Photography in Brisbane. Not sure what he is able to do these days as I believe he is working alone now, but it's worth asking.

We paid nothing and had a family friend who is a photographer do it as a gift.
But we did get a photobooth - which was about $1500 and was great entertainment for the guests

We paid $600 (£450) for 10am until 9pm and got 3 photographers and 600+ photos on disk with copyright. We provided them with a meal and we also met with our main photographer twice before the day to go through things at no extra cost. I just did lots of googling and emailing to try and get people to lower their prices etc. We were really pleased with what we got so cheap doesn't always mean bad! You can have a call around photography courses at university and things cause they often will offer cheap/free in exchange for pictures for their portfolios.

From memory ours was $4500. That was for 6 hours of photography, a CD of all the images (which we then had the rights to, so we could get extra copies), a 6x4 copy of every photo printed, and an absolutely beautiful album with our 50 favourite photos.

We used Paul from Grosveld ink. He is the most amazing photographer you can have. His work is stunning and his personality is amazing. He doesn't just take unbelievable photos, he makes the whole day better. We were very happy and have had friends use him since.
