    Agree Ana, blindly jumping on the bandwagon may be well intentioned but irresponsible. I posted the vid at first and even though my part was small I'll be feeling quite guilty if the US military invade Uganda/Africa.

    I'm afraid those answers from IC answer very little for me. And the letter to the US president leaves me absolutely horrified at the ramifications of increased Western militarisation of the area.

    I haven't even read the posts before mine but things like this always **** me off. Why aren't people more interested in things that are happening in their own backyards before everywhere else?

    I agree with acting locally to some degree but there are some of us who are concerned about the far reaching consequences of OUR actions. Our call to action could involve the wrong people resulting in further bloodshed for millions. This is why I'm interested. We should care how our first world actions affect third world countries. Having said that, the interest in IC has certainly dwindled.
