This happened to me when I had DD2 in a baby capsule, I couldn't open the door wide enough to get the baby capsule back into the car, so I had to go through the door on the other side, leaning over 2 other car seats to do so. Fun!
I don't think it has anything to do with car size or cost though. Wasn't a big or expensive car..... it was a rubbish parker and an inconsiderate driver

I have a big car (a 14 seater van) and I find crazy that I cam manage to park in the lines and than this small zippy comes and parks next to me so close and way over the line so that I can't get in.
The kids can get in from the boot but I can't. It so frustrating.

Once we parked in PWP parking (gasp! No! Okay promise this isn't a controversial topic!!!) but the PWP parking at my shopping centre are equivalent of 1.5 parking spaces each so there's heaps of room for getting prams & children out. UNLESS some ****** comes and parks BETWEEN two cars that are in parking spaces.
And no they did not have a car seat.
DF and I didn't know whether to just laugh or slam our car door into them either. We managed to get into our car but I feel so bad for the parent of the other car as they parked like 20cms from the driver door and there was a car seat on that side of the car!
But it was so wtf?!?

And there was plenty of alternative parking spaces. So there was no need to do it either!

Yes, I would like to repeatedly hit their car with my door and have been known to kick a tyre in a very childish tantrum LOL.
I don't get it, I have a medium size car that I can reverse park nicely between the two lines, may not always get it first time but make sure I don't leave it parked on angles etc. I too am sick to death of not being able to get either kid in the car because some dumbass has parked badly. It's not that hard people. And it doesn't matter how far away you park, someone still has to park badly beside you grrrr

Aahhh yes, happens all the time! I always put their window wipers up, childish I know but that's what you get for being a douche! And most of the time it isn't even a big car.... My husbands commodore had a.... Wait for it.... SMARTCAR park so close I had to climb over the console and back out for him so he could get in!
I try and park as far from the entrance as possible, usually beside a garden bed so I only get one neighbour.... That douch always seems to manage to park hard against me anyway

I have a glove box full of stickers that read " nice park @$$hole, next time leave a can opener so I can get out"
That get placed on the windscreens of stupid parkers.

Lol that is me,
I drive a new 4wd (the car in question today was a hummer I think, possibly a new Japanese jeep, it was massive) and I always park FAR away from the shops because:
*like a 'drive through' park due to large turning circle on 4wd.
*like to be able to get in & out easily.
*don't like people parking next to me.
So yeah when someone comes an parks on top of me with ample spaces elsewhere it makes my blood boil.
On the other hand I don't mind when a BIG car takes up two spaces. I'd prefer they do that then park on top of me. If it's a little hatch back and I can't find spaces else where I do get the urge to key the offending car.
And boobycino I tell people your PWP car story all the time I reckon I can imagine your confused faces staring at the scenario, lol classic.
