    Default Hand pumping breasts

Does anyone do it? I was thinking of doing it and freezing some in bottles?? Is this just a crazy idea?

I very easily hand expressed when bub was newborn, as I had a huge supply (could hand express 100ml in a few minutes). Once DS was around 3 months and my supply had stabalised I couldn't hand express much so bought an electric pump. Doesn't hurt to give it a go - having a little stockpile in the freezer is great.

I get twice the amount expressing by hand than I do with my Medela Swing! Not sure why, but it works just fine (although I do get sore hand muscles after a while!).

I have, but I had average supply and needed a lot of ebm due to work, so tended to use electric pumps.

But if it's just for a bit, and it's working, then it's definitely not crazy.
