i was morbidly obese though, i think prolly at least half of it was because i wasnt retaining so much fluid any more.

id say its prolly good as a kick start, but long term, the regain is almost inevitable

It was the worst thing I did. I list 8kg over 8 weeks, but gained 16 when I stopped it. It seemed to mess with my metabolism(which I had issues with already) and made it much harder for me to lose anything. I wish I had never tried it. 5 yrs on and I'm still trying to lose what I gained. But I'm probably an exception, I do have GI and intestinal/digestive issues.
Good luck, I hope it works for you!

My partner is on optifast and has lost 24kg in 11 weeks. Im doing a different diet as I'm Breastfeeding but I have tried the bars. The berry one is nice
The regain is an issue with all low calorie diets and that's why optifast has four phases. You're not mean to just stop cold turkey. You need to slowly introduce food and change your eating habits, portion size and stick with exercise.

    Default Peter

Did Optifast for 12 weeks. 3 shakes and veggie soup (I got the recipe from Optifast website). First week difficult but after that no hunger pains. Drank lots of water. Lost 20kgs. Put it back on over two years. Started back on it today. Amazing product. Good luck!
