Oh Kahu...Im so sorry if my comments have left you feeling guilty...I so didnt mean it that way.
Yes, you are lucky that your first cycle bought you success, but by no means feel guilty....you have still struggled like the rest of us. You belong on this forum...we will all join you one day and be gloriously pregnant, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Hi kahu nothin to feel guilty each journey is our own. I am thrilled and excited for you. That the strange thing I am hurt and devastated with my SIL but we here are all going through a similar difficult roller coaster with ivf and it's easier to celebrate our success. My SIL and I have a strained and distant relationship I don't think she is a very good mother tbh and yet they are going a 2nd time and she is 9weeks and if my last ivf attempt worked I would be too!! Sucks aye.
Enjoy and be grateful for your bfp I feel good for you x gives me hope. I am still full of hope

Btmac - Nice to hear everything is going along as it should! It does make sense that it seems wrong that everything is going right.... - I think we progressively program ourselves to expect that there will be some sort of hiccup. Hang in there with some +ve thinking....
I have talked to my FN about DHEA and she said that FS is strongly opposed to using it and that it has some ugly side effects. As for Saizen - I've not heard of it before now. I will look into it. Though may just take my business somewhere else in order to get some answers.
Sunny - Isn't Dr Google the best and the worst... - I take it ANA is an autoimmune response? It's good that your FS is playing it safe - it's a shame it's gonna take so long. Have you asked to be put on a cancellation list? I wish that I could have some evidence to suggest why I am having such a poor response. FS was not interested in investigations when 2nd cycle was cancelled - just on the next course of action and protocol to take. Sucks to be waiting and in limbo. There is another clinic in Tsv - Monash ivf. I would consider Cairns (CFC) from all the positive things said on here about them. I would also consider Wazza - but I have to keep in mind cost...
Bella - Hope your 2nd scan shows a better lining today. It must suck to be sick when you are getting ready for FET. I second Sunny's notion - that we all feel the same when it comes to hearing about other people's babies/ pregnancies. I used to be able to coo and comment on random people's babies while out and about... but now I can't even bear to look at another woman with a baby... and the judgements that I find myself passing on people I know and how they choose to parent... well let's not even go there. So be assured that you aren't the only one going through range of emotions and that I am sure that at some time or another each of us as felt resentful of others. Stay positive chick - it will happen (who knows Wednesday just might be the day)!
Kahu - Glad to hear that your scan was all good and on track. Please don't feel guilty because you've had success. You're success gives us all hope and I guess you can appreciate where we're coming from because you've needed help to get your BFP too - you're just lucky to have been able to get there so soon.
Amps - As above.... waiting sucks. Let's see if I can't round up AF and give her the hurry up....
DJTurner - Hi
AFM - Been putting off making the decision about whether or not to go back to work. DH is working away for the last few days so is not physically present to talk to about it. Am really stuck! My GP - who is a good listening post is also away... as is our Employee Advisor. I think I may take some long service. I just don't want to be 'wasting' it.
Went to see an Osteopath yesterday to see if I can sort out ongoing inflammation in my back. She had some interesting ideas...even if they were completely naive! Anyways will do what she says and see how it goes.
Stay well all and

Hope you are all doing well
Hi MusicalGal, hope you have found this thread and all is well with you. grow little one grow!
I'm feeling a little flat. Damn af is being a stubborn wench and is playing hide n seek. I've had signs since Tuesday which is just tormenting the hell outta me. My dh has applied for a week off work so he can be here for his part, but it will be a waste of his holidays if af doesn't arrive before wednesday. crap damn blast rant rave vent. Okay, I'm done now.

btmac - congratulations again how exciting. I am so thrilled for you.
AFM - Fet was cancelled my two embies did not survive thaw - I am gutted.
I am sniffing as of this weekend to start a long down reg cycle as the antagonist cycle i did last time only produced 3 eggs although we had 100% success with fertilisation, they are hoping for better results this time around.
It sucks and my husband is just so darn upset and I feel totally numb. I think once i start sniffing and jabbing then it will hit me i am back to square one. I am so scared that I will keep producing low numbers each time and the drugs and hormones and surgery it just so hard mentally physically emotionally financially I just hope we get good quality better numbers this time so we can get more frosties and hopefully some fets if the first transfer doesn't work from this cycle.
I had Dr Waterfield last time 10.5 years ago now That is who my employer sent me to since it was covered by them. However I would have prefered Tom, I am thinking should this work I would like to use him. If you don't mind what arre his fees like?

Sunny: Hey dont be silly, its not yours or anyones comments, its just the way i feel, i know that we are all going through the same stuff, but i feel like i cant relate to the pain of getting a BFN through IVF. I can't wait to be able to share your BFP with all of you.
Bellavista: Im sorry to hear that your 2 frosties didn't make it, big hugs to you and DH i know what you mean about the low numbers, i only had 3 eggs too, i was devestated, because i kept reading about women who would get 15 and the FS told me that he should be able to get about 15!!! Well all you need is 1 good egg, i have all my fingers and toes crossed for you. are you doing visualisations? Im send you lots and lots of to make lots of little follies with big fat eggs!!
Shazzy: did you end up taking long service leave??? how is your back? it sucks when you aren't well when you are going through this. the doctors thought i had dengue 2 weeks out from my first cycle, it sucked, i was worried that i would have to delay my cycle again, as it had been delayed and moved a couple of times due to my DH work.
Amps: hey thats what we are here for, so you can rant and rave, dont worry, i have been doing a fair bit of that lately. did your AF arrive? I hope you had a great birthday!
btmac: i hope your Morning Sickness goes away soon my headaches have eased off, and are no where as bad as they were. I am only 9 weeks, so i have another scan next week and then my 12 week scan. I will too be going to Tom Wright. Everyone recommends him. Thats great that he is willing to do fortnightly appointments for you. will your DH be there for your next scan in May? Thats great about the medicare safety net! did they tell you that at medicare? cause i got a fair bit of money back when i went in the other day.
Im guessing you will be having a teenage party at your house next week!! Happy birthday to your nearly adult son!
AFM: I have had the worst week, and it has had nothing to do with being pregnant, long story short. i nearly walked out of work due to my new team leader threatening me. I am making a formal complaint, and managment are taking it seriously, she has been stood down at this point in time, but im not looking forward to seeing her again next week. I can not believe she did this, it is the last thing i need on my plate at the moment. I thank god my manager is fantastic, and is supporting me, she made me go home and take time off work to rest and look after me and bub.
Otherwise, im doing well, no serious morning sickness stuff. I am having my 10 week scan on Friday, and then my 12 week scan after. Im a bit bummed because my DH can't make either of them, and he is in a community that does not have mobile phone reception, so i can't even send him a picture of the scan oh well, enough about me.
everyone, i hope you are all well and yay for a 4 day working week next week!
to you all

Kahu– Cant wait for you to celebrate BFP’s with each and every one of us….it will happen one day! How is your work going…has its ettled down? How did your scan go?
Bellavista –Sorry to hear that your 2 embies didnt make it. I agree with btmac….cancelled cycles are awful….they hurt…damn hurt. But I was glad to read that you have jumped back on the IVF train and commencing a long down reg cycle…something tofocus on and just knowing that you are doing something positive and working towards that bundle you will one day hold in your arms. Incidentally, when I did a long down reg cycle it was the best I had felt out of all of my cycles….I hope you have the same experience.
Shazzymoo – Seek a second opinion. I have been on DHEA (takes 3 months to be effective) and also HGH (Saizen)…at my age it didn’t make much of a difference to my egg numbers, but is certainly improved the quality – it improved our fertilisation rates anyway. Yes, HGH is expensive ($300 per injection) but worth every cent…FS will prescribe it at certain intervals…I had mine at Day 21 and Day 1, 2 and 4. Dr Wazza was going to prescribe a lot more for me. I am not sure what or if you have a fertility issue, however, at 39 years of age, I think you would definitely benefit from DHEA and/or HGH.
Amps – Did AF show her ugly head? Have you started cycling?
btmac– I have been on baby aspirin each time I have cycled, but I have been asking about Clexane for quite sometime now, but FS wont prescribe it until he gets the all clear from my specialist appointment on 8 May. Dr Wazza was going to put me on both when I sought a second opinion with him last year, I guess my FS is being super cautious. Fabulous that your OB will see you fortnightly…that must be a weight off your shoulders. How many more sleeps until DH is home?
Knackered after a big day at the RSL yesterday. Haven’t been in absolute years….but I gotta say, I had the BEST time and bumped into so many friends and acquaintances…lots and lots of laughter. A social day/night out is so what I needed...been too long.
Mum flew out on Monday…miss her already. She says it is cold and miserable and wants to get straight back on a plane to Cairns! We had such good quality mother/daughter time. Was so glad to have her here for my birthday...had a mini meltdown. Birthdays dont normally worry me, but throw IVF into the equation and I lost it. All good now.
On the countdown for my appointment with specialist regarding my Antinuclear Antibodies (ANA). Appointment is 8 May. I had somehow got the wrong data on my ANA and thought last year it was 1:460 and this year 1:464. On further checking, my readings are 2010 –1:40, 2011 – 1:60 and this year 1:640…WTF!!! Why the big jump….good question for the specialist….hope she has the answers and/or remedy to get my 2 red lines!!!
