what a *****!!!!
IMO you will be the better parent because you will have a life to share with your kids...you will have things to talk to them about...you will have experiences that they will identify with when they are teen.
So many people forget that they are not raising babies...they are raising future adults!
I am jealous though, we cannot afford a babysitter and DH's mum is a fricking nightmare and cannot even be trusted with sleeping babies (ie sit in the lounge room and watch tv). I sometimes run out the damn door leaving DH with the kids...for a coffee or even the grocery shopping lmao
I am clingy with my kids...but i am also a living breathing thinking feeling adult who requires a life

What a judgemental B!tch! wow!
Nothing wrong with having a babysitter and going out and having some child-free time to unwind. Lots of parents do....heck I do!
Cant stand people like that. Everyone is different why must people be like that towards other parents. Why cant others just accept and be happy.

Gee I understand people have options but surely by now SOMEONE has told her that they are like butt holes and best kept to ones self.
But just out of interest, Is this the same Cow that rang up early one morning and blasted you for something, or are there many in your area? (Vague I know, but the thread tittle had me doing a double take)

If she was so happy with her life she wouldn't be worried about what you do with yours....just saying....

Did you ask her how the weather was up there on her self-appointed pedestal?
The mind boggles as to why she felt it necessary to dissect your parenting choices. Jealousy seems like such a predictable reason and gives her some sort of excuse for her behaviour. Maybe she is just a *****? I've met a few of these and they have me picking up my jaw from the ground with the **** they come up with.
Glad to hear she didn't have you second-guessing yourself.
