I feel sorry for you and your poor little DS, my DS dose not like taking Panadol and Nurofen so i started putting it in a drink bottle with milk and he loves it, as long as im not seen doing it,
Maybe you could try something like that?

Oh really, that's very interesting I didn't even think of that.
I will get one for DD, thanks for the tip.

DS hated it! There was no way I got him to take it. I tried everything. You can't let them have it with milk either. Plus he can't have any calcium an hour before or after taking it
I eventually just got up before he did, mashed up fresh fruit (vitamin C helps with iron absorption), put the ferro liquid through the mashed fruit with a little bit of cordial to make it sweeter.

Than after he had that, I had to wait an hour before he could have his weetbix with milk. It was a very intense 3 months. The worst part was that I had booked a holiday before knowing about his deficiency. So we went to Europe for 3 weeks and stayed with my aunt and uncle. I had to continue the ferro liquid there too. It was obviously too much of a hassle in my aunties eyes. She just told me he had to eat more beef. *SIGH*

We've had another "waking every 10 minutes" night on Saturday. My mum noticed yesterday that he was getting a potbelly again, which usually happens when he's about to get a growth spurt.
So I went on my GP's advice and gave him some painstop combined with a little Phenergan. This settled him a bit and he had a 4 hour sleep before waking up at 5am, ready to start the day.

I now go to bed early each night as I never know what kind of night I can expect lol

Do you mean the tissue salts? We use Martin & Pleasance Schuessler Tissue Salts. The Kidz Minerals ones.
