Default ??? AF after natural m/c (& clomid)

I know there's a thread like this on D&c, but wondered about natural miscarriage.

I had a m/c in January and it's hard to know the start of my cycle as I had symptoms for over a month owing to perigestational hematomas, but I think it may have been 29/1 when I had the actual m/c. (yes, a long, fun month!).

So i'm due for AF and I've had some spotting yesterday. I'm wondering if this is AF or random spotting due to m/c. This matters because I'm wondering whether to take clomid today (I take it CD 2-5).

    Any thoughts? Advice?

I'm inclined to wait a cycle, but DH is keen to get trying again (and I am too, tbh).
