    Default anterior placenta and c section?

    does having an anterior placenta affect my up coming c section in anyway?
    I have a c section booked for 3 weeks but was only informed today that I have an anterior placenta!!!!!

    No,my first csection placenta was anterior high, second was posterior low, it was never mentioned and both incisions the same. Good luck.

    nope…technically they have to be a bit more careful but my OB said it didnt really make any difference at all.

    I had an anterior one with my last c section & everything was fine.

    Only placenta pravia sp? would be more concern for them because it's near or where they need to do the incision. Anterior just means its at the front but would not be that low, it's probably sitting around the middle of your belly.
