    Default Ouch!!!!

    Hi ladies,
I have been in a bit of pain with my ankle since late last week - im guessing i did it at the gym, but really cant remember actually injuring it at any point.
Anyway, its on the inside of my ankle, there is no visable bruising, but it feels bruised when i press on it.
This may sound weird, but it also has bouts of "contracting" type pain...it really feels like a mini contraction in my ankle, but cant actually feel the area tense up by touching it with my hand at the time.
Anyway, i have been strapping it since 2 days ago and applying ice gel, but its not really improving. I know i should see the GP but i CBF going and paying $60 if i get told "its just a sprain, rest it and ice it" Obviously if it doesnt improve soon i will have to go and see him.
So...anyone have an injury like this before?! Dr google SUCKS and has diagnosed me with Gout ( a form of arthritis ) so id rather real peoples advice
    Thankyou!

Go to the Physio. Costs less than the doctor and they can actually do something about the pain whereas a dr will just refer you there anyway. I did a major job on my ankle and rolled it inwards but I definitely knew I did that!

Thankyou I'll give one a call tomorrow. I was expecting it to have improved by now but it's actually feeling a bit worse
