Im 39 weeks pregnant and had severe thrush for most of my pregnancy. My doctor said that it was safe to treat as much as i needed but not to use the applicators or if you do, not to put them in too far as it can reach and damage your cervix. I used the pessary at about 30 weeks along and it worked great. Just eating alot of yoghurt can also help with thrush because of all the good bacteria.
Its a nasty thing but at least after birth it should dissappear

Not sure if this works for everyone, but it helps me when I have thrush. On top of cream/pessaries. I have a bath with dettol. Stings like hell if it's red raw but find it works to clean and soothe the outside. Also have used cold packs before. Sorry if TMI.
