I'm pregnant with my second child and having a planned c section due to medical reasons. I've just found out that this has been booked for Friday 13th. I'm really not happy about having it on this date, but don't know if I'm making too much of a big deal about it. It could just be the pregnancy hormones making me super emotional ! What does everyone think - would it bother you ??

Friday's child is loving and giving.
For what it is worth, in Latin America the belief is Tuesday 13ths are the 'superstitious dates'!

It wouldn't phase me. It's just a date, that will soon be a very special one for your family. Don't stress about it.

My Mum was born on a Friday the 13th and it hasn't bothered her one little it. When her birthday falls on a Friday it's always been a little more special.
But that said, you are entitled to feel however you feel! No harm in asking if they can possibly change it by a day or so if it means a lot to you .
Best of luck with your delivery!

I would embrace it. I also think a leap year baby would be awesome too.

Wouldn't bother me one iota! But then I don't believe in superstition either.
It's just another date like any other. All the best with your birth!!

It honestly wouldn't bother me, at all. I'm not superstitious in the slightest though.
