    I would try and find out whether she drinks red or white, and sweet or dry too if you can.

    I don't like reds, but I did try 9th Island's Pinot Noir after being told it's a fair mild red. It's okay. I still prefer white, but if you're unsure which she drinks, if she's a white drinker, this red should still be okay.

    I personally like dry whites, or sparkling whites... sweet whites are gross IMO. Any sort of bubbly is nice... they all taste pretty much the same IMO. lol. Otherwise a bottle of sauvingnon blanc is nice. Again, most brands tend to taste pretty similar.

    Oh - lol... looked back and saw you don't want wines anymore. I'd get a box of chocolates. Everyone loves chocolate (well, unless you're a freak... lol).

    If she doesn't drink wine get her Lil cocktail mix thing like with the shaker or glass n flavoring they don't cost too much (I recently got one as a gift was lovely . ) That way she can add her alcohol of choice or ditch the grog n get her a gift card or flowers n choc delivered to her everyone likes that

    was gonna say moscato which is like $7-10 a bottle but I'd just go chocolates
