1. Isobel or Isabel (what's your preferred spelling and why?)
I have loved Isobel for months, and now that bubs is coming very soon we've just thought of willow. Love it to but worried about shortening to Wills - not keen on that. Isobel is so close to Isabella which is very popular now, so that's a negative. But it's SOOO pretty. Worried I can't picture an adult Willow. Hmmmmmmm.

I love both (but like the traditional spelling of Isabelle... Don't like either variant). Love Willow!
Sorry, not much help!

I prefer spelling Isabelle just to be annoying LOL
With just the L on the end Isobel or Isabel it looks 'unfinished' to me!!
I think the A over the O softens it a bit!
I do like Willow also but if your worried about popularity I have heard of WAY more Willows than Isabelles!!!!

Isabel. Spelling is simple and as the name is pronounced. Willow is nice but I am personally not a fan :-)

I also like the spelling of Isabelle.
Willow...sorry I don't like, anytime I hear that name all I can think about is Will Smith's daughter and that annoying 'I whip my hair back and forth' song arghhhhhh

Isabelle. Spelt only like that. But we have an Annabelle and people spell it different every time. I hate any other spelling of Annabelle and agree with only one L it looks unfinished !!
I actually dont mind willow but would only use as a middle name personally

I love Isabelle, but that's what I am using for our little girl! Lol so i obviously love it!
I also really love Willow, I think it will work for an adult too.

I like Willow & think it would be fine for an adult name, but I love love LOVE Isabelle (spelt like this as pp have said).
If DS1 was a girl he would have been an Isabelle, but wasn't meant to be..
I also like that Isabelle can be shortened to Izzy or Belle (I love both these names) & I hate names that can be shortened, lol. Not sure about Wills for a girl, I think it would annoy the hell out of me personally...

I prefer Willow.
If you went with the other name, I much prefer the old fashioned way of spelling it, Isobel.

or even Willa, which could be a bit more grown up.
