I really really feel for you how old is your little one?
I hope it will get easier as she gets older and you can see she is happy.
I would really really struggle with this and would be crying my eyes out too I'm sorry that I dont have anything hugely positive to say i just wanted you to know that you're not alone. your little girl will soon be home with you, hugs to you, have you got anyone who can come round and support you (distract you?)

She's only two. So we are hoping that she adapts well and if we don't ever get back together and maintain a good friendship then she will grow up accepting this and while different to other families, it will be our normality.
If we ever get back together, then she will be young enough not to remember there really being a problem.
I survived my first night last night, stayed up till 1 talking to a friend on the phone which really helped (thanks you ) and now I have decided to try and enjoy this independence and have taken myself out for breakfast (ignoring that it's now quarter past 12!) and am trying to keep distracted.
I should start my new job next week so hopefully that offers a good distraction for me on my non DD days.
