Yes I had it with both my pregnancies. Not all the time but I do recall having it. Not really that helpful to you though!!! I have no idea what causes it.

Hopefully someone might be able to shed some light on the subject. Otherwise you might have to buy a packet of mints!!!

I had it with this pregnancy, but not with DS. Made cooking........ Interesting. And a couple of times in-edible!
I think I mainly had it in the first trimester. I cant remember when it stopped, was just glad it had!!
I fount tic-tacs worked well and put lemon in my water as it tasted awfully metallic because of it.

Check out this link... I think it's what you may have; common in pregnancy, caused by hormones..
edit: try googling 'Dysgeusia during pregnancy' for a better search result, this link (I just realised) seems to be advertising something.. you might want to look for a more detailed site..

Just googled it, and its normal thank goodness
Pregnancy hormones, and in particular estrogen, seem to play a role in controlling and moderating our sense of taste. And when you're pregnant, estrogen levels — and hence your sense of taste — may fluctuate widely. Plus, your sense of taste and your sense of smell are intimately connected, so pregnancy-related changes in your sense of smell may also lead to that metallic taste during pregnancy.http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnanc...lic-taste.aspx)
Try banishing that metallic taste with acids. Focus on sour flavors such as citrus juices, lemonade, and — assuming your tummy can handle them — foods marinated in vinegar .
