Default MCNs that last through 2 babies?

Now that I've decided I love, love, love MCNs I want to build up my stash. I mainly have some ebay cheapies at the moment which are doing the job but I'd like to invest in some nappies that will go the distance.
Any tried and true brands out there?

Only brand I like is sugarshots. The quality and fits for both my children is impeccable.

    Baby beehinds!

We use the resizable ones and have some 2ndhand. They are on their 3rd child now and still good. Pul covers ate a little worn- Velcro marks- but still work great. We've never had a leak either. Love them

My baby Beehinds and bumgenius are holding up the best.

The boosters have started to wear on my Monk'n'Bears, fluffy bubs and Bonnibuns.

I think BumGenius are the best as they..

Have easily replaceable elastic in both legs and back (none of my other nappies have such easily replaceable elastic!)

Fit up to a generous size (they are OSFM).

Stay looking new for a long time, especially the snaps version.

Come in lots of nice colours and a couple of prints.

Come in an AIO (Freetime or Elemental) or pocket style (4.0).

And are now much cheaper to buy than they used to be, huge bonus!

I'm still using nappies on DS3 that I used on DS1... 5 years ago! They've gone through 3 kids, used every second or third day at most on repeat! And they're only just now starting to fall apart! (I've just had to purchase more inserts as needed!)

My favs are baby beehind, issy bears, bum genius and green kids!

The elastic on several of my BBH is gone (the ones with dodgy elastic were all bought at the same time). I won't buy them again, which is a shame.

A lot of the companies (including BBH) claim that MCN's are great because they last for more than one baby, but these are two years old and my second baby can't wear them. I have always looked after them incredibly well and washed them as suggested.

The new owners of BBH denied that it was any fault of the nappy though! If I could go back in time, I would spend hundreds on a different stash and wouldn't even give BBH a second thought.

I have bbh as well. The covers have worn well (mainly used woollen ones) but the nappies haven't been good at all. I think I will struggle to get a second child through them. We have the bamboo ones and have looked after them as per the instructions. My sister in law has the same ones and her's look much better, so I wonder if it is luck of the draw re the quality of the material? They have been great re leaks etc, but I can't recommend them for longivity.
