    Default First blood test

When would you suggest going for my first blood test? I'm starting my 6th week this week... and my first appointment at the antenatal clinic is when I'm 14 weeks. Help please

Well if you are in your 6th week you don't really need a blood test to confirm pregnancy.

Your doctor may want to give you a blood test to check your immunities to certain things.

Also if you are having the 12wk nuchal translucency scan you will need a blood test a couple of days prior to the scan.
