The school we are going to send our children to is $2800pa first child, $2500pa second child and no cost for any additional children. It's an independent Christian college.

Other fees are about $300 per student per year. It will go up in in middle school and senior school to the total of about $4500 for first child.

Very affordable considering. For an equally good school in Brisbane (where we are currently living) is ALOT more. We are moving to a remote area which does have 4 primary schools.

This school has fantastic stats and is in all a lovely school. Worth every cent I think.

DSS's fees are about $1700 for a catholic school in a large regional town. He is in yr 1. This includes everything except uniforms and a library bag.

Depending on where we end up, I'm looking at 2 catholic schools for DD1 next year. One is approx. $900 per year and the other around $1200 per year for kindy.

I'm looking at Montessori and Steiner in our area, they're averaging out at $12,000pa for kindy and $15,000pa for primary.

Plus Montessori association fees plus levies ...
