Default What is a spirited child?

I've seen the term 'spirited child' around the forum quite a lot and I've always wondered what it actually meant? I know that sounds really silly & I guess it has something to do with a child's personality/behaviour, but can someone please explain how you define a spirited child

I've just read that back and it sounds like I'm being sarcastic, I'm honestly not, I'm just curious

A sprited child takes far more emotional and physical energy than a regular kid.

They usually sleep less, and need constant stimulation during their awake times.

They are quite often very intelligent and motivated.

They are usually very loud, get bored easily, and stubborn.
