Exercising when sick?! What's the go?

Never exercise when your sick. Your immune system is working overtime to get you better so don't cause your body anymore stress.
Your body needs plenty of fluids, good food and rest, rest and more rest.

Losing weight is 80% nutrition... So in times when you cannot exercise, stick to good, clean eating and you will be fine
Also, walking when sick is fine and will not to any damage

Really? My childhood GP and current GP always tell me to just rest so your body can cope with healing itself.
Hope you feel better soon. Tonsillitis sucks. Try gargle some salt water as well to speed things up a bit xx

This is correct but I'd say more like 70-75%. I'd curb the exercise till you're well & truly on the mend, then start back with walking until you're 100%.
I'm a nutrition coach & PT at a women's gym. I see lots of diligent ladies come in when they're sick - & not come in again for 3 weeks afterwards.

Stop exercising! You need to rest!
Hello Rachell,
It's dangerous and unhealthy to your life to continue to excercise while you are sick. Stop immediately and get rest, rest, rest.
Drink a lot of Boiling water instead of tea or coffee.
REST!
