Hi, We are trying to think of potential jobs for my DP.
His work is closing down soon and he wanted to study something !
I was curious to know what you or your DP do for work and roughly how much they earn per year ?
So I can throw some job ideas at my DP.
Thanks in advance![]()

My DH is a Machinery Plant Operator (Civil Construction) - He's earning $85,000.00 a year now but wasn't earning that much until a little while ago. He now has 5 machinery tickets, HR Truck licence & several other tickets, certificates & licences. We did all of his tickets etc... through his employer (living in a remote area the employers are most likely to pay for things like machinery tickets) but i saying that I has been really difficult and I wouldn't advise anyone to do it the way he has though

Sales manager for a corporate training company and earns $140k base + super + commissions. Works out to be about $200k per year. He has a commerce degree from uni but I don't think you really need a degree to get into sales.

Dh is a Prison officer and earns $70000 a year but that's going to increase to $75000 a yr at the start of the new financial year. You don't need to have any sort of qualifications for a job like this as you do a 12 wk training course when you first start then he completed his cert 3 in corrections on the job

DH is a mortgage broker and currently on about 90k. He's just resigned though and is tossing up between two jobs, both of which will hopefully be 100k+
