Quinny zapp vs quicksmart easyfold stroller
24-02-2012 06:31 #2
I know nothing about the Quicksmart, but I LOVE my Zapp!!! I have the old one and purchased the new seat and adapters so I can choose to have it recline/rear-face or have it with the static seat and as a more compact unit for travel, etc.
Its a fabulous unit. But I am a Quinny lover (have the Buzz as my big pram).

I think the zapp is quicker and a lot simpler to fold than the quicksmart. It also has a longer seat so you can use it for longer! Zapp also looks better !!

Zapp all the way-- handling is out of this world.

I've had the 3 and 4 wheel quicksmart and there is nothing 'easy fold' about them. Many times they have gone home fully set up in the boot cos I give up LOL. Given I have only used them when holidaying as they are very compact when you can actually fold them up.
I should vote for the zapp then LOL (Have never seen one lol)

I just googled the zapp as I love prams lol. It looks a heap better than Quicksmart, even though that's the only one I've owned. Folds down so small and the seat recline which the qksmrt doesn't.
I want one now lol
ETA oooh fair price difference if you are just after a stroller

To me price doesn't come into it if the product I want will suit my needs better. I don't see the point in buying a crap stroller because it is cheap but then not being happy with the recline, how it handles, storage etc etc.
You may as well buy what you want.
I think the quicksmart has a place for quick trips and to the supermarket. I wouldn't use it on a holiday though as there is not much recline and hte wheels are quite small. We have a Mac vogue and a baby jogger city mini for travel/supermarket.
I also think the quicksmart is quite heavy and it does seem tricky to fold. But I like the baby jogger and maclaren which are quite simple.
I would get the zap xtra if I was buying but OP it really depends on your needs

RDCO - what are the diffreences - pros & cons of the Zapp & the Buzz?
I have been thinking about the Buzz for my baby due in June ... we were going to get that and hire a maxi cosi capsule to fit it, then we were given a carseat/capsule combo - which won't fit the buzz .... but thinking of hiring the capsule for a few months anyway to make life easier and still get Buzz?
haven't looked into Zap.
Hope that makes sense!
Would love your thoughts.
