    Default Holding breath

How old was your bub when they first learnt to hold their breath under water?

Dd is one and can swim therefore hold her breath.

    However...

Ds is 3.5 almost 4. Gets scared so won't hold his breath even though he could and can't swim because of fear.

Totally different personalities which has definitely shown when it comes to water.

    Very different indeed!

Did your dd learn at a centre by being briefly dunked under each lesson?

My ds loves water but can't swim/hold his breath. He's 10 months and has started putting his face into his bath water though, then pulling back quickly and sniffing in shock - so funny.
