    Default Greenish discharge in 6 month old DD - worry or not?

    As the title says, my DD is 6 months old and nearly every nappy change I notice a small amount of green discharge in the nappy and it has been persistent for couple of weeks. I haven't seen it on her vulva or in her vagina when I wipe her so its just enought to work its way onto the nappy (the smear would be about a fingernail sized amount each time). She is happy and not running a fever etc and seems fine.

    Is this normal? not normal? should I get her checked out? Its not the discharge itself that is bothering me, more the colour of it.

    We use MCNs, huggies newborn wipes, moo goo skincare, wipe front to back *although being BF means that her poo gets EVERYWHERE, front, back and sides!*.

    If its like my DDs nappy then it could be a wet fart

    I have never noticed it with dd. if I were in your shoes I would go to the dr just incase.

    Hehe, baby farts are funny

    But its not a wet fart, its on the front of her nappy, definitely vaginal and a dark yellow/green colour (TMI but pus coloured).

    I'd go to the doctor JIC. Maybe take an old nappy with you to show them (lucky doctor!)
