    Default Orthostatic hypertension

    i suffer from this and quite honestly im overrrr it.

    So i hafto slow down..well its hard and i dont wannaa and its notmalways possible. But it would be nice to not come within an inch of passing out/complete loss ofmvision everytime i stand up. >_<

    *insert tantrum here*

    Anyone else have this?

    Yes me! I have suffered with this terribly in the past. I have CFS though, and as I am recovering, this is recovering too.

    I think the best thing to do is to slow down. I know this is nearly impossible, especially in your situation, but please try to where possible as I believe this is a sign your body needs more rest.

    It took me getting so sick that I had to move in with my parents for 2 months to have them look after me and the girls before I finally started listening to my body. We have made some major life changes and I am seeing a Traditional Chinese Medicine Dr, and I am seeing big improvements in my health.

    I know this is not always possible, and it may not even apply to you anyway! But I just wanted to share my story.

    I so get it. I am really stubborn too, and I have impossibly high standards about how I want to do things. Not a good mix sometimes, as I have learnt.

    Yeah, I am a huge convert to TCM (chinese medicine) now, my Dr is so clever!

    Have you got some support? Can you take some time just to relax and do nothing every now and then? I find I have to make myself relax, it has never come naturally to me lol.
