    Default Annoying things people say

Feel free to add your own..

It really bugs me when people tell me they think someone they know "is autistic" because they've done something really stupid.

Sorry dear, that doesnt make them autistic, that just makes them an idiot, and the two have nothing to do with each other.

It really annoys me when people ( usually my in-laws) try to make DS eat chips/chocolate/lollies etc while he is happily eating fruit or veggies and when I say no he is only 1 they always say " everything in moderation is ok"
Um a 1 year old has no idea about moderation you idiot !!!

When people say 'I know how you feel'. When they don't. Argh! So annoying!!!
And 'it is what it is'. (funnily enough I catch myself saying this sometimes).

Someone asked my mother why we were bothering to have a funeral for DD because "we only knew her for 4 days, we couldn't have been *that* attached"

    Ohhhhhh wow.

Mother was not pleased, I just laughed in disbelief.

Omfg what kind of person thinks that let alone says it to a member of the grieving family??? People like that are seriously a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

Its ok, we honestly just burst out laughing because it was either that or cry. It doesn't really bother me, I just think they must be so naive.
