How long is a piece of string?

Every child is different. They will move when they are ready.

Could be before 1, could be in their teens.

I moved dd1 when she was 5/6 months she was sleeping through the night and it felt like the right time we just started by putting her in there for day sleeps, but she broke her collar bone when she was 27months and was back in my bed once that happened and didn't leave until my second DD came along but she's still not back in her own room, it sounds bad but she sleeps in my massive walk in robe on a single mattress on the floor and I think I'm going to let her decide when she's ready now
