I am wondering if any of you could recommend a good pregnancy yoga / pilates / exercise DVD? I work in a remote location that doesn't offer any prenatal classes and I'm finding my usual gym classes a bit too high impact now that I'm 21 weeks along and getting bigger so thought I could perhaps do something at home.

I have one that I would suggest you stay away from, 'Pilates tv pregilates'. I did it last pregnancy, when I was still reasonably fit and I really didn't like it. It didn't feel 'safe' and there was not enough images of the pregnant person exercising. From memory I think she was only 14weeks or soemthing too.
IT may be just that I had not done a lot of pilates but I would try something else. Now we are 'just' UTD I plan on dusting it off and seeing if it is that bad.
The magazine 'Women's Health Bump' HAd some great exercise suggestions. this was in the launch issue and had workouts for each trimester. Not yoga but strength and cardio. Of course you need to work within your own limits

I'm using Pregalates at the moment (diff to PPs advice). I really enjoy it - it's not easy but I'm definitely comfortable doing it. It's also divided into trimesters & the instructor is pregnant as well (about 10 weeks in tri 1, 25 weeks in tri 2 and 34 weeks in tri 3 based on my guesses). I like that she's pregnant, makes it easier to relate and she's honest about the parts she's finding tough as well.
