    Default He's changed his mind

My partner an I recently split up, we have a 4 year old ds an I'm 22 weeks pregnant with another ds.
So this morning I ring him to remind him that we have the prep interview at the private school for ds, he says oh ive been thinking about that maybe we will send him to a state school for primary and private for high school.
Ds has been told for ages that he will be going to this school an now ex has changed his mind I'm so pi$$ed off that he can just decide to do that.

Why if he changes his mind does it have to change what was agreed on? In my mind, if you have both agreed on something, then HE changes his mind, the burden is on him to argue his case, and IF you agree, then things can change, otherwise, they need to stay the way you BOTH originally agreed...

    Don't be bullied.

Because I'm a sahm an he would be paying for it so if he says no I really don't have a say. Think I'm just a but sad as it's a lovely school an I got my ds into the c&k on the grounds of the school and he talks about going to the big school next year.

Nup, doesnt have to change, Im a single Mum to three, two of whom are going to a Catholic school. My ex pays for nothing more than child support, I send them to this school, its paid for by me. At first I was super annoyed that he decided to no longer pay, but at least I can say that I did it myself.
That said, Im lucky to be able to do this as I have no debts other than bills, and no addictions like smoking, so really all my money goes on the normal bills and the kids.

I would still go - you will regret it.
You will find ways to pay the fees, my daughter is going to a catholic school next year and my ex wont be contributing a thing.
Most schools have payment plans so you dont pay the fees up front - i would ask about this once you are accepted though.

Ask the school if they have a subsidised fee structure or payment plan if you really want to send him there, but i understand.

I will defiantly still go to the interview an if he doesn't want to pay I will try an afford it on my own.
good idea about the payment plan, will look into it.

If you have a health care card you get a huge reduction in school fees at catholic school not sure exact amount but we get about $400 off a term for 2 kids..might be a bit more as I haven't got this years fees yet. Catholic school live by the rule of no child should be denied a catholic education due to financial sistuation. But definately go to the interview.
