Both inadvertantly and on purpose i do things so i'm not constantly thinking about the cycle or IVF or not having a baby.
I thought it would be fun to see what others get up to as well.
Inadvertantly - I eat (hellow weight gain!)
On purpose -
I've turned half the garden into a vegie patch
I painted our fence
I painted every room in the house - room by room cycle by cycle
Renovated the kitchen
Renovated the office
Tried to start painting artistically (sorry pictures still half finished

What do you do to distract yourself from IVF?

June 2010 failed cycle we build DD a cubby house for her birthday. I had fun painting and interior decorating it with a feature wall, carpet etc. We gave it to her for her first birthday. In hindsight, it was a ridiculously huge project especially given her birthday deadline of only 4 weeks.
This time - I'm planning her big girl room. Just buying small items and going so sort through my fabrics boxes when she naps today so I can think about what kind of quilt I want to make her.
I also need to finish off her 1st year scrapbook which was my goal to finish it before another baby comes along. With the way I'm going I will be up to her 10th birthday before there is a new bub.
I will admit it is easier when, like me, you are blessed with a little one already cos they don't give you much opportunity to wallow....
But I am scared that I will run out of hobbies and end up spoiling her beyond belief if we have to cycle a billion times
Babydust to everyone xo

My husband and I put an offer on a house we can't afford. It really took our mind off things - everyone should try it!

I taught myself to crochet and became obsessed with it. I made a baby blanket, probably not the healthiest idea but I love the idea that one day I may be able to wrap my baby in the blanket I poured so much time and love into when I was in a vulnerable place. I found this gave me something to look forward to whenever I had spare time and a goal to head towards.

We have a list of things that will be near impossible after babies, and we try to some of the 'little things' from it every day. For the bigger things like weekends away, we bought a camper trailer & go somewhere at least once a month.
Sorry on my phone, so can't copy & paste the list right now. I'll come back when I'm on the computer.
