    Default Painting house

    Hi

I wanting to paint a couple of rooms in my house. I'm 17 weeks pregnant I probably won't do the painting but is it safe for me to be around it and safe before bubs come? I've heard so many different things.

    Any advice would be great

    Default i did it

I painted three rooms in my house while on mat leave as i got sick of waiting for hubby to do it on the weekends i was 36 weeks pregnanct. I just made sure to keep the rooms really well ventilated with windows and doors open, fans going, i brought a mask but couldnt stand it. I also got low odour paint.

I wouldn't paint while preg at all.

We are paying a painter to paint a bit of our house next week, I'm going out for the day and leaving the whole house open to air out with fans on.

Even low odor paint puts off fumes it's just they don't smell as strong.

I know lots of ppl who have painted while preg thou so it's really a personal choice

I painted our bedroom while 25 weeks pregnant. Lots of ventilation. Water based paints are perfectly fine to use
