I was browsing through eBay this morning and saw a "item" and they wanted buy it now $30 when you can buy brand new from local Kmart!! It was a eBay store. I do find people with eBay stores sell items well over price.
It really pays to shop around.

Yes, sellers who do that are usually hoping to sell to people who live out bush and have no choice but to buy off the net and have it posted

I've noticed that too and also other bidders lately have been bidding higher then usual it's so annoying when I set a limit and there's always someone else willing to go higher. I look at a lot of city chic clothes and I used to be able to pick tops and tunics up for $10-$20 now it's a min of $30

Yep I have notice eBay prices have been going up a lot lately!
I'm about to list some Dora removable sticker borders we got for DDs room. She grew out of Dora before I put them up thankfully so that means someone is going to bid high!!! Hahaha

I often laugh at what people will pay on eBay. I've seen "used" items go for more than the same thing brand new!! Or are listed at $20 more than the shops and people pay it.
I think people just get the mentality that eBay is cheaper. But I still do some research and check prices no matter where I buy something from.

I was looking at a new maternity dress on ebay for about $100. I looked at the actual brand's web site, and they were selling the same thing on sale for $50. It was a reminder for me to always check elsewhere, as it's easy to get caught up in the moment.
