    Hi ladies!

Just popping in to give my update and to give everyone their and 's!!

AFM - I had a 'perfect' 5 day blasty transfered today. One of my embies didn't survive the thaw, and I was told yesterday that of my 2 remaining embryos, one was growing and the other was doing nothing...I cried.
Today I found out that the one that did 'nothing' was the blasty they transfered today! So I have to ring tomorrow to see if my other one made it. I think the embryologist said it was more than 10 cells, but not quite a blasty...so whatever it's called in between that

My BT is meant to be on the 22nd, but we are away that weekend so I have to go in on the 23rd...another whole day to wait!

Had some acupuncture 2hrs after transfer and will go back on Tues morning.

I'm feeling pretty emotional this cycle after what happened last time. I'm 50/50 that this will work for us. Will see if that changes over the next few days...

Decided I won't do a HPT until the day before BT this time. I want a heads up if my BT will be a BFN.

    Goodluck everyone!

Hi all. Just popping in as I can hardly keep my eyes open. Just got home from EPU. I got 5 nice looking eggies and dh's junk was all great. So waiting on txt tomorrow morning to see how may fertilized. If I get 4 or more fertilize we will try a 5 day transfer. If less than 4 we will transfer back on Monday for a day 3. Fx they are all keepers and we can do a day 5.

I will pop back in later And catch up on personals after I have a nap and have some pain killers. I'm quite sore.

    Love to all.

Thanks akukura- I had my Us sound today. Pretty rushed as it was not supposed to be until tomorrow, however, could not get a booking so had to go in today a tad early but the good news is my lining is perfect and have one dominant follie just waiting to ovulate. Just waiting for theat surge now. So excited. The nurses were even excited when they rang. So nice to hear it in their voices, just gives me such positive hope!
Great news on the blasts in the freezer!!! xx

@Disney - happy TWW! I wish you the absolute best of luck this time around. Perfect is EXCELLENT news.

@Jems - 5!!! That's great, considering the news you had a few days ago. I'm well pleased for you. You're at WFC right - iv sedation + local? Would love to pick your brains to see how the EPU was. Rest well. xx

@aka - YAY! Great news re: frosties

Hi mrs jaguar- pick away. Yeah iv sedation and local. I take really well to sedation so I was out of it and dnt remember much from the time they gave me the drugs. But a couple of the girls today didn't sleep and were awake for the whole thing.. And they said they only felt pressure no pain. But any questions you have I am happy to try and answer hun.

Disney - good luck for your TWW I hope it flies by.

Wow April 23rd is getting busy for BT's.
    Good luck Disney!

Dextersmum: so glad your levels are rising, the nurses ended up joking with me and telling me they were going to take my ovaries out and celebrate when I did eventually ovulate.

    Jems: glad epu went well!!

Thanks Jem - I've never had any procedure before this, apart from my HyCoSy (where wimpy old me passed out in the middle of it, it was awful!) so I was more nervous about feeling things. I jokingly asked my nurse yesterday whether she could write on my chart to just give me a sharp tap on the head & knock me out for the EPU! I am going to pray that I fall asleep.

Lee80 – How are you feeling now? Awesome fert rate!! Are u doing 3 or 5 day transfer? If you’re doing 3 day I would consider waiting and doing a FET, I think ur body might be still too sensitive for a transfer. I know with my first transfer I was really uncomfortable for a week and I did a 2 day transfer that was BFN. I think what Zakmick does is pretty smart.
Some articles about the pros of FETs:
    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0705184221.htm
    http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0708080707.htm

Thanks Aka! I am extremely uncomfortable at the moment I shouldn't have gone to work yesterday, by the time I got home I could barely move! Bed rest seems to be the only way to alleviate the pain somewhat.
I am meant to be doing a 5 day transfer on Monday, but at this rate I doubt it will go ahead.
Thanks for the articles, food for thought! xo
