    Hi all.
I'm having a bit of a 'wtf' moment. (Sorry...) Just had a call at home after hours from my FS, which was scary enough in itself. Anyway, he rang as DH's sperm count has gone from 2mil before first cycle, to 40million in first cycle, 10 million in second cycle and 0.6 million in this cycle!!!! What the hell is with that?!? He is doing EVERYTHING he can and this is such a kick in the guts. We've been referred to Professor Rob McLachlan at Monash ivf who is an andrologist to see if he can help. My FS also said though that we need to freeze some sperm asap...

Seriously, this just sucks! I'm not sure what more we can do. I know I need to think positively and I know that we're being sent to the right person, but it is just so frustrating. DH is seriously one of the healthiest people I know!
Has anyone heard of Prof McLachlan?

    Sorry for the 'me' post..

I'm on day 5 and I haven't noticed any changes. I'm getting paranoid that it may not be working as well as we hoped. Can't wait for my scan on Friday to put my mind at ease.

    Broomdyke-excellent fert. numbers!!

Lannie-it's so disheartening. We to were advise to freeze some sperm due to a count of 0.3mil/mL.

Broom - that's fantastic! Hope they grow well.

kmvw - you might find this link useful. http://www.nyufertilitycenter.org/ivf/embryo_transfer

ngaiz - I didn't find orgalutran hurt, but you have to jab more firmly to get it into the skin as it's a slightly thicker needle than the puregon. I always iced before jabbing though so never felt any of them going in.

lannie - I don't know, but just wanted to give you a

    Hi Ladies,

Thank you for all your well wishes Its really great to have your support and cheers. I’ll be popping in a bit less now I guess but will keep reading to make sure there’s a lot more bfps this month! I’m sure all you awesome ladies will get your little miracles soon!

Lannieoh its such a shock when u get news like that. Prof McLachlan is responsible for my bfp because he correctly diagnosed DH’s MFI after MIVF got it wrong and didn’t give us effective treatment. I can highly recommend him, he really knows his stuff with MFI.

Adden – good luck for tf tomorrow

Amps – im a sicko as well and love the injections too! How about we call your stage: ‘jabbing & poking’ hahaha

    Broomdyke – great fert rates!

DisneySorry your FET didn’t work, I’m sure this cycle will be better. Both my stim cycles I started jabbing on Day 3, I thought that was normal! I wouldn’t have waited either, just jump straight back into the fire!

Peonies – im so relieved for you!! Will u join us now in the expecting threads

LillyPonds – congrats on being PUPO!! U cant get better than 5AA embies, they have the best success rate. Yay!

JemJems – I didn’t get my bfp until 7dp5dt and I was very upset when I got my bfn on 5dp5dt, so I’d only POAS early if u can handle a bfn (even if its just coz ur levels are too low to detect or you’re using an internet cheapie that is crap)

To everyone else – good luck with your jabbing, sniffing, epu, fet, tr, tww and waiting! Thanks again for your support and kind words

    aka

All of mine have been great and I didn't feel it. Numb with ice if your worried. I found the needle was much sharper and pierced the skin easier.

aka - I had already been in the December due section. But haven't seen any of the IVF ladies there. Are you all somewhere else I don't know about?
