    I would just send your own. I would not pay the gold coin if it was to cover costs, I would if the day was organised as a fundraiser for something.

    Depends on how bad cross contamination will effect your child. If its minimal then - take mix in and let the teacher make it for her. But if cross contamination can be severe then no - let your DD take in her own from home.

    I'd go with the second option. The teacher can always have somebody dash over to the staff room to heat them up in the microwave
