Wow, she's acting very very selfishly. She's lucky you're even going considering he'll be there, but to push her luck by putting you with him and having him stay in the same hotel? What disgusting behaviour.

honey. That is just off that she can't understand.
If she is so set on it, the only thing I can think of is to put her MIL and him together and you to sit with her FIL. Still not ideal, but....

I think you should sit next to her the mother in law and on the other side of her husband put her fil then him. So men together women together. Happens a lot in divorced homes etc...very common set up.

Wowwww, if you don't want drama, don't go triggering people, especially your family.
That is utter sh!t.

I'm Irish... At nearly all the Irish weddings I've been to, including my own, the parents are swapped... like another poster mentioned, its usually MIL with my Dad & FIL with my mum! So if she really wants to do the Irish thing!!! HTH

Have you told your DH BM? What does he have to say about it all? I think mine would kick and scream til I didn't go. That is so wrong. So so wrong. Does she know the history? I kind of hope she doesn't so she has am excuse for her downright disgusting behavior.
