Question See through/nearly transparent formal shirts-----what do you wear underneath?

Whenever I go shopping for tshirts/tops/formal shirts, and if they are light colours,I hold them to the light to see if they're transparent.Sometimes, they are lovely colour tops with nice designs, but I don't buy them as I'm conscious of people seeing my bra/what colour bra I'm wearing underneath.I usually just wear a singlet underneath if I buy them, but what do people generally do?I mean,I must be able to wear all those light colour tops as they come?!?

I always have a singlet on underneath but yeah, unfortunately I have seen those that simply go the bra and ahhhh, some definitely shouldn't.

I always wear a cami. I also wear a flesh coloured bra as I don't like bra straps visibly peeking out. I find if I wear a flesh coloured bra, it blends well with the rest of my skin, unlike white bras under white tops which look quite stark and obvious.
