    Ok i'm feeling really dumb but how do i light one.. I can see candles on there but nowhere to light one of my own...

    Spot one that's not lit (amongst the lighted candles) and click on it. Go from there.

    I lit one to go with my real one on Sat night and have just lit another to help the family today.
