We go every year (I love the show) Last year we went for 2 and a half days. It was fantastic. The kids want to go for longer this year! We had the time to sit down and watch a lot of the shows that you just don't have time for in one day. We stayed at the formula one which was just walking distance away from the show. Novatel is even closer but a lot more expensive(My aim for this year) Have fun.

We went on one of the public holidays and it was AWFUL. The lines were so ridiculously long and there were people everywhere, we could barely move. It was really, really unpleasant, like constantly being stuck in the middle of a very large mosh pit. I would recommend going on one of the least popular days.

As pp's have mentioned, the food is expensive so bring your own. We took a packed lunch and heaps of water.

Definitely have a look at the website to try and work out what you want to see and when, otherwise it can feel a bit overwhelming on the day.

I would suggest staying around Homebush for accomm, although i'm pretty sure there is free public transport included in the showlink tickets if you want to stay elsewhere.

Make sure you take hats and suncream it up...as for prams etc, we took the trekking backpack so that DS could see everything, and we also find it easier to navigate through large crowds with a carrier.

    Another question

On the website you can buy coupons. What are these for? How many do we need? Should we get them before or on the day? (Kids are 3yrs and 5 mths)

    Thanks
