Default What do you feed your 9 month old?

DS is 9 months and is eating cereal, mixed meat and veges for lunch/dinner and mashed up banana, pears and apples. He will also eat toast after his cereal.

He is still on 4 bottles a day.. not sure whether this is normal?

Just wondering what other kind of foods i he can be eating now

    TIA

Dd is having a thousand breastfeeds a day still. She is eating fairly well now too. She eats.. Steamed chicken and fish pieces, basically any soft vegetable like carrot, potato, she will chew on broccoli etc.. toast with peanut butter or acacado spread, baby rice crackers with some spread on seem popular.. She likes acacado, mango, banana.. Cheese pieces, cucumber, apple pieces but she mostly just sucks these.. She does eat some mashed foods like she will let me feed her mashed tato or pumpkin but she prefers feeding herself. If I'm out and desperate I have given her those raferties garden sucky pouch things and they have gone down well too.. She really eats anything we eat now

At 9 months my DS was eating what we were!( we did BLW so just made sure it was suitable) Unless you have allergies in the family eggs, nut butters, strawberries, seafood and fish are great healthy foods to give babies at that age , if you have not already put lots of fresh herbs, garlic, ginger etc in their food and don't be afraid to let them try everything! The only food I wouldn't give DS ( and still won't!) is processed meats, fast food or packet food , at 9 months my DS went through a olive obsession ! He was still on 4 bottles too, they still need their bm/formula until 1, he dropped to 3 bottles at 11 months and 2 at 13 months and now at 15 months still has 1!
