    No! We waited at SILs wedding, hubby didn't want the attention from his little sister. He did however tell his mum in the car ride home as she lives in a different state to us and wanted her to know before flying out the next morning. Other SIL was mad at me for sitting in my seat all night not talking, I had to keep going to the bathroom to chuck!

    I think it depends how it's done.

    Interrupting the speeches, grabbing the microphone and announcing "guess what everyone - I'm PREGNANT!!" = wrong.

    Mentioning it to your friends while chatting at the reception = perfectly fine IMO.
