Ick, yeah I've had OPsbe really nasty and dismissive of my thoughtful and caring posts (I don't do much of those, maybe they didn't think I was serious).

I only normally look at 'new posts' and if posts aren't answered quickly they disappear down that list pretty fast!

I don't have time to answer many posts so sometimes my one sentence replies may come across as rude.
Maybe I shouldn't bother sometimes as it is never my intention.

I have found that people are very generous, taking the time to type out helpful replies most of the time.

But some questions are a bit more unusual or specific or posted at quiet times, so may not get an immediate reply.

I can sometimes read 20+ threads before replying to one. I usually nave nothing to offer or it's already been said.

I agree that sometimes titles can be very misleading.

I have had HEAPS of threads with no replies! I don't think people are rude but I'm not in the "popular" crowd, so my name on a post may stop people from looking. I don't lose sleep over it though.

    Meh not really.

In regards to thread views - I assumed non-members who read threads would add to the tally (like, random Internet people who can't actually reply).

I've been reading more than posting lately. I've not been great at forming thoughts an opinions lately & I'm pretty grumpy ATM (it's a billion degrees and I'm 37 weeks pregnant) so its probably best I don't post anything... :-/

Yes there are plenty of rude people, but not replying to a thread doesnt always = rude.

Try not to take it personally. Perhaps a post gets made during dinner time or school pick up time, and not alot of people are on, so it gets lost in the back pages. Or a problem might be unique that no one has experience with, or the thread might have been done a million and one times and people are sick of repeating themselves. Etc.

Ditto - also being on phone app won't always let me reply and I don't have patience to retype everything again!! Lol
Also if I read something I don't have any extra advice or benificial info - opinion I don't say anything :-)
