hi i'm new,
i'm just posting a concern i have, i'm pregnant with baby no.3 and i've just had a growth scan only to be told that my baby is measuring ahead and I have a large amount of amniotic fluid. I'm having an elect c-section but i'm unsure what this means in regards to the c-section? They said baby is also transverse. They haven't booked my c-section date yet because they were waiting for the results of this growth scan. I'm 35 weeks and they said if baby was bigger it might bring the date forward.
has anybody had any experience with this??

I had an excess of amniotic fluid with my last bub. My midwife told me it can be caused by stress, and sure enough once the stress was gone the fluid went back to usual level.
Not sure if its necessarily the same in your case but just wanted to put it out there
