i also had a traumatic first birth, but im very comfortable with my new care provider, and have been supported in my choices (so far)
im reading lots of calmbirth/active birth books hand (and webpages) so i can birth more effectively and hopefully need no interventios.

    Hi Mummahoot,
I'm so sorry to hear about your previous birth experience, it's very understandable that you're not feeling as excited this time. Just wondering if you have heard of Birth Talk, they're in Brisbane but i'm sure there are other places similar to them in other towns. They offer support and groups to women who have had traumatic birth experiences if that is something you are interested in.
As well have you thought of a doula? Someone that can debrief your fears and look at options with you if you're not getting this support from other health care providers.
Hope you find some good support for yourself during this pregnancy,
    xox
