So we are in our new place, and we have polished wood floors, I love them, much better then carpet
What can I use to clean them?
Can I use my steam mop on them?

Yes, they are fine with a steam mop.

We have just ripped up our loungeroom carpet and have old polished floors underneath. I just mop them with some wooden floor cleaner.
I've been told conflicting things with steam mops. Somebody told me that it can damage the floors, but somebody else said it was okay as long as you're careful with how long the mop sits on them.
I'm thinking about getting a steam mop anyway, as mine need sanding and repolishing so it doesn't really matter if i damage them a bit.

Yeah they are real timber, looks like I'm pulling out the steam mop once the kids are asleep tonight
