I have an oricom video monitor. You do pay more for the video but I like being able to see my DS so I would definitely recommend it.

Another Oricom fan here. We had a Roger Armstrong and an Angelcare before the Oricom, and they were shocking. Very bad static. The Oriom is brilliant! Absolutely no static at all. You wouldn't be disappointed if you bought an Oricom.

Fisher Price private connections with dual receivers. Paid $50 for it on eBay.

Love oricom too. It's a digital monitor therefore no static.
Tbh I would buy the basic model. I have the midrange one and never have used the lullabies or the nightlight. Otherwise I would go all out and get the video too.

I saw a Target brand digital video monitor in action over the weekend and it looked great. Video and sound and plays lullabies. I had a look online they are $199.
