I went to pre-marriage counseling and I'm so glad I did. They gave us practical methods to improve our communication, a system for resolving a specific conflict and also helped us identify where conflict was starting (ie family upbringing has a lot to do with our conflicts). I think it cost $150 for 5 sessions, however that's very cheap from what I hear. My parents are starting up their own counseling rooms and I believe they're $90 an hour, but they have payment systems. Anyone approved by the ACA should be able to help you with couples counselling. I hope that answered your question, I'm on my phone so can't refer back to your q's
